Sign Language Rakugo at Furusatopia Plaza on 16th May

On May 16th, I’ll be performing at Furusatopia Plaza in a special Sign Language Rakugo Show — joined by my master Katsura Fukudanji, the pioneer of Sign Language Rakugo, and my fellow performer Fukudanjitei Fukuichi.

We’ll be presenting a unique blend of traditional storytelling expressed through movement, expression, and heart — making rakugo accessible and engaging in an entirely new way.

To make the day even more exciting: NHK World will be filming the event as part of a documentary, capturing this special performance.

And if that weren’t enough — it also happens to be my birthday!
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than on stage, sharing stories with wonderful people.
